i would just really love to see lydia deciding enough is enough after the last episode and doing shitloads of research ; books, articles, documentaries, everything she can get her hands on, on the supernatural, everything related to it. i want her to memorise and understand all the different types of mythology ; lycanthropy, vampires, gods and deities, magick, e v e r y t h i n g, to the point where she’s literally bursting with knowledge about stuff that the hale pack and the hunters haven’t even considered. and i want her to go to all of these crime scenes and go to the morgue and dig up as much as possible, and i want her to slowly become more frustrated and angry and determined to stop everything that’s bad happening.
and then i want her to flounce into a pack meeting, perfectly manicured and rocking 3 inch heels, and throw files of neatly organised information about the alpha pack, their origins, possible theories about what they’re doing, how to destroy or stop them, to Derek. and then i want her to walk back out and meet allison for slurpees and a movie night.
